Your Malaysia study pathway
For higher-education students, Malaysian Immigration and EMGS connect admission, Student Pass processing, the applicable visa step and post-arrival requirements.
Start with your academic background, intended qualification, subject area and the kind of institution that fits your goals.
Review the programme, entry requirements, accreditation or approval, location, duration, fees and current intake information.
Organise your academic certificates, transcripts, passport and any programme-specific or English-language evidence required by the institution.
After accepting an offer, the Student Pass process can be submitted through EMGS or through the institution’s STARS process, depending on the route.
Complete the applicable visa step before travel, then plan accommodation and the required post-arrival medical screening and Student Pass endorsement.
