Why the USA needs a clear plan
U.S. education includes universities, colleges, community colleges and English-language programmes. Requirements vary widely by institution and level, so the strongest starting point is a realistic study plan rather than a generic school list.
U.S. colleges and universities offer bachelorβs programmes across a wide range of academic fields, with institution-specific application requirements.
Masterβs and doctoral routes can include programme-specific academic prerequisites, recommendations, statements and test requirements.
Community colleges and pathway options can provide alternative routes into U.S. higher education where the institution and programme are a good fit.

USA student visa
The U.S. Department of State says students must first be accepted by a SEVP-approved school. The school then registers the student in SEVIS and issues Form I-20. The student pays the I-901 SEVIS fee and uses the I-20 to apply for the F-1 visa. Applicants may also need evidence of academic preparation, intent to depart after study and how educational, living and travel costs will be paid.
Student visa guidance βF-1 sequence
Admission decisions are made by education providers. Visa decisions are made by U.S. consular authorities, and a visa does not guarantee admission at the U.S. port of entry.
